Congratulations to our Blendon Band students who have been selected for the OMEA Middle School Honor Band in Worthington on November 10th: 7th Grade students selected are Chloe B. and Nana A., with Milla W. as an alternate and 8th Grade students selected are Hunter B. and Maddox M., with Philip S. as an alternate. Students selected need to have their forms filled out and POSTMARKED by TOMORROW , Friday, October 19th. Deadline for acceptance is Monday October 22.

It’s SOCKTOBER and our Builder’s Club/Student Council needs you to donate all sizes of gloves and socks for M.O.M.M and Caring for Sharing. Every pair of socks or gloves that you donate equals 1 raffle ticket: 1 donation = 1 ticket, 5 donations = 5 tickets, and 10 donations = 10 tickets. Once the raffle is over we will pick 1 winner from each grade to get a Dairy Queen or Starbucks Gift Card. The raffle will last until November 15 so let’s get donating!
Attention 8th graders: Are you interested in science, technology, engineering, digital art or mathematics? Westerville City Schools Robotics Team is for you! We are the Westerville Wild Warbots and we want you to join us for the 2019 robotics season. For more information or if you want to join please see Dr. Huelskamp or join us at North High School's Engineering Shop from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are looking forward to having 8th graders be a part of the robotics team!
Attention all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders: Do you like to bowl and hang out with your friends? Join the Westerville Middle School Bowling Club! Bowling club will meet every Friday in January and February at Sequoia Lanes. There will be an informational meeting at Walnut Springs Middle School on November 8th at 7 pm. Pick up an application from Ms.Shimovetz’s room. Space is limited so sign up soon!!
