Hello Bulldog Families!

Interim grades are now available in PowerSchool through the Parent Portal, as we mark the halfway point in Quarter 1! Hard copies of interim and quarter grades are available upon written request only. Request forms are available in the office.

Student-led Conferences are coming up on October 24 & 25. I encourage you to embrace this opportunity to see your student(s) present his or her academic progress from a student perspective with pride. Teachers are equally excited to meet families and have this  opportunity to work together to make your student as successful as he or she can be. Sign up for conference times now through the following link, Parent Teacher Conference. The link is also available on the Blendon School Announcement page at

PowerSchool continues to be the most reliable source for updated information regarding student academic progress,  attendance, transportation, school fees and much more. The Parent Portal is the primary place for guardians to provide important information regarding the health and safety of our students. It is imperative that we have the most current and accurate information on file regarding every students’ emergency contact information, medical alerts, and other parent permissions as outlined in the list of ECollect forms in the Parent Portal. Each form requires a digital signature every school year to confirm your preferences are accurate. This includes the Publicity Consent form that allows your student’s name and picture to be included in any social media that promotes student achievements. We ask that you and your student sign the Code of Conduct in acknowledgement that the Middle School Handbook is accessible at anytime on Blendon’s school webpage under the “Resources” tab.

Please note, SchoolMessenger has replaced OneCall! This is another reason to be certain phone numbers & emails are  current in Power School’s Parent Portal. SchoolMessenger is our new automated notification system used throughout the Westerville City School district to send out important information via voicemail, text, and email. Contact information is pulled from PowerSchool. All Blendon newsletters and daily announcements will be sent via email through SchoolMessenger in addition to being posted on our website.

I look forward to an exciting year of exemplifying our Bulldog Pride and striving for excellence!

Mr. Kendall Harris, Principal
