School Board to Hold Special Meeting Oct. 19

The Westerville City Schools Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at the Early Learning Center, 936 Eastwind Drive in Westerville.

Board members introduced a motion from the table to conduct only that business on the agenda that requires a Board vote under law. The motion was approved unanimously. The Board proceeded with only the required portions of its meeting, which lasted approximately two minutes and thirty seconds.

Diana Droste Herak, an orchestra teacher at Genoa and Walnut Springs middle schools, has received the Elvin Donaldson Most Inspirational Bandsperson Award in recognition of her work and contributions to Ohio State’s TBDBITL Alumni Club.
