High Schools bring in more than $41,700 for Caring & Sharing

The holiday season will be brighter for many local families who are struggling this year, thanks to the efforts of students and staff in the Westerville City School District.  When totals were tallied on Friday, December 11, Caring & Sharing received approximately $41,720 to help needy families in the community.  Westerville Central High School led the pack by raising $17,061.83 Key Club advisor Jennifer Horn coordinated the effort.  Westerville North brought in $10,297, led by Key Club advisor Lauren Mattioda and guidance counselor Melissa Simashkevich.  And Student Council advisor Beth Eddy at Westerville South inspired pupils and staff in friendly, grassroots, homeroom competition to add another $14,361.75 to the mix.
