College Credit Plus
Interested in taking college courses next school year as a part of College Credit Plus (CCP)? To participate in CCP for the 17-18 school year, which will include the 2017 Summer Term, students and families must turn in a completed Intent to Participate Form by April 7th (click the link on the right to download) and receive counseling about the benefits and risks of the program. If you missed our College Credit Plus information session held on January 25th, please review the slide presentation and contact your school counselor to review the risks and benefits of the program.
CCP allows eligible Ohio students in grades 7 through 12 to earn college and high school credit through the successful completion of college courses. Students interested in CCP (which includes, but is not limited to, specialized programs such as the John Glenn Internship as well as CCP courses offered on a student’s high school campus) must be accepted by the college/university they wish to attend. Each college/university has their own GPA and standardized test minimums.
For additional information about the College Credit Plus program for Westerville City Schools, please visit our CCP Information Page. College Credit Plus questions can also be directed to students’ school counselors.
