This office is within the
Department of Administrative Services, and works to maximize financial resources to support educational success. Our number one priority is to save general fund dollars and generate revenue for the district through maintaining efficient delivery systems, as well as, cost effective services for students, parents, staff, and community members.
This office oversees the following:
Food Services
Responsible for providing meals that are nutritious and appealing to students and staff in a safe, sanitary and welcome environment while containing costs. All meals are designed to meet one-third of a student’s daily caloric needs. The operation is fully self-funded and uses no general fund dollars.
Print Services
Responsible for providing professional quality full-service printing, timely, and at below market prices. The operation is 60% self-funded and services are available to school support groups, non-profit and other public entities.
Purchasing
Responsible for daily requisition review and approval of supplier base for both centralized and site-based procurement needs to capitalize on cost-savings opportunities and streamlining processes. Other functions of the department include: auction of surplus and salvage inventory; district copier fleet leases and maintenance; donation processing and valuation; facility rentals; fixed asset recording; and Board property and casualty insurance portfolio serving as the district’s risk manager for fleet, general liability and property insurance.
Warehouse Services
Responsible for providing a straight-forward delivery and warehouse inventory system employing a customer friendly, service-oriented approach.
