Parents are very important to us - and to their child’s development. Once the student leaves the classroom, it is the parents who continue to encourage and support their child in the learning process. We believe children can only achieve the success they deserve with the help of concerned and dedicated parents.

Artpad.com
A digital canvas where students can express their creativity or view the saved artwork of others, including animations of how others formed their masterpieces.  They can draw, paint, frame their work and even e-mail it to mom or dad.

Coolmath.com
An animated, fun Web site designed for ages 3 - 100, offering interactive math games, puzzles, an online calculator, and a coloring book.  There are also suggestions for how to succeed in math and how to find a career in math.

e-Learning for kids
A global non-profit organization dedicated to fun and free learning on the internet for students ages 5 - 12; offering free best-in-class courseware in math, science reading, keyboarding, english and health & life skills.

Tips on several topics including homework, working with schools, keeping kids off drugs.

Education.com is an online resource for parents with kids in preschool through grade 12.

Westerville Public Library
Need help getting started on a homework assignment, paper or project?  Stop in to the Homework Help Center staffed with volunteers! Open on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 3:30pm until 6:30pm in the Youth Services Department, this service is provided for all elementary, middle and high school students. Students will be helped on a first come, first served basis. Homework Help Center volunteers can assist you with:

  • Understanding your assignment.
  • Attacking your studies.
  • Finding ways to do research.
