Mark Twain’s Henrickson Receives Invention Convention Teaching Award

Chris Henrickson, a fifth grade teacher at Mark Twain Elementary School, was selected to receive the 2012 Invention Convention Teacher of Excellence award. He was nominated by one of his students.

Henrickson was honored at the Invention Convention, which took place on May 19 at Columbus State Community College. He received a $1,500 Microcenter gift card for technology in his classroom; a Donato’s pizza party for his class; a school assembly presented by PT Reptiles; and a class trip to COSI.
