Westerville City School District officials recently were notified by the Franklin County Board of Health regarding a sewer overflow in the ravine behind Wilder Elementary School. After an investigation by representatives from the Board of Health and Environmental Protection Agency, they determined that the sewer overflow is not on district property and that there will be no health risk to the students upon their return to school. The overflow has been stopped and the EPA will be responsible for the clean-up.
