Welcome 2016.17 students and parents/guardians.

How To Use This Website:  Click on the appropriate link to the left; Physical Science or Classroom Information.  When you click on either of these links a new page will open containing links to individual information or assignments.   Within the class assignment section, you will find class discussion notes, homework assignments and laboratory activities in chronological order.  The list you will initially see will be the most recent.  If you click the "view all assignments" link below the heading "class assignments," a current assignment list will open at the bottom of the page.  If you then click "view archived assignments" near the top of the page following the name of the course, all past and present assignments will appear.  Susequently clicking on the name of a specific assignment etc... should open up a pdf copy.

This website will serve as link into my classroom materials for those that need to revisit a class discussion, pick up a missing class assignment, or further practice classroom materials.  This page is intended to provide useful help in navigating my home page to access materials for class.

This school year I am teaching Physical Science, ESL Physical Science, and Introduction to Engineering and Design.  Materials for these courses will appear as one of the links at the left side of this page.

Each day I send homework alerts to those parents and students wishing to receive this message.  If you are currently not receiving this message, and wish to, please email me at the above address and I will provide directions so you may be included as well.   It should be noted, that my students are given a weekly quiz each Friday.

I have begun creating select podcasts of some portions of my lessons.  I hope this is a helpful refresher for students in class or as an opportunity for absent students to look over material prior to returning to school or as needed to complete missing work.  These have been recorded in windows media player and can be found through the link to the left entitled "Lesson Podcasts."

Podcasting is still fairly new to me, so occasionally some recording kinks arise.  However, despite the minor problems, the information is still applicable.  Some podcasts may have some problems with the volume during playback, so you may need to really turn the listening level up or use headphones for some of the podcasts.
