2022-2023 Scheduling Information:  Grades 9 - 11

January 18: Scheduling process begins! All students in grades 9-11 will hear a video presentation during their homeroom period; this presentation will cover important information and dates about scheduling. Students will also receive a Course Planning Sheet to prepare for future registration. 

January 18-21: All Students in grades 9-11 will hear presentations about the various course offerings available in each department. Teachers will discuss course recommendations with students. 

January 24: Future Wildcat Night held for rising 9th grade students and any other interested current students about various topics (graduation requirements, advanced coursework options, etc.). This event is tentatively planned to be held in-person from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. More information on this event to follow in the coming week.

January 26-28: Students in grades 9-11 will enter course requests in PowerSchool during math classes. 

February 7-March 11: All students grades 9-11 will meet individually with their counselor to finalize course requests, discuss any questions, or make any adjustments to course requests. 

March 18: Verification forms are due in PowerSchool for students/parents to complete ONLY if there are any adjustments or corrections to be made for a student’s course requests. Please note, after April 15th, only minimal changes will be allowed to course requests/future schedules.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!

AFTER APRIL 15th: These are the ONLY Acceptable Schedule Adjustments you will be able to make to your 22-23 schedule (changing teacher and/or lunch is not allowed):

Not enough classes (Need to be enrolled in 5 courses)

College Credit Plus questions or timing of classes

Deleting a duplicate course

Need to add a course for graduation

Delete a course not on registration sheet

Add courses to eliminate Study Halls

Upgrade level of a course (Honors to AP)

AP/IB Course clarification- See Mr. Heinmiller

Tentative Scheduling Timeline

Week of January 31 HS Scheduling Workshops for 8th graders at each Middle School

Week of January 31 Middle school registration forms out to students (during HS scheduling workshop)

Feb 14-Mar 18 Course request verifications are given to all scheduling HS students (rising freshmen included) and due by Friday, March 18th.

Fri March 18 Course verification forms due and counselor review takes place through March 18th.
