The Westerville City Schools Board of Education will convene in a regular board meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 23 at the district's Early Learning Center, 936 Eastwind Drive, in Westerville.
The United States Department of Agriculture waivers that have provided no-cost school meals to all students across the nation expire at the end of the school year. This means Westerville City School District families will have to resume paying for breakfast and lunch school meals when students return to class after summer break.
The eighth-graders at Blendon Middle School got a jumpstart to the school’s annual trip to Washington, D.C. with a visit from an Ohio lawmaker they’d typically seek out while visiting the U.S. Capitol Building.

Blendon Middle School band and choir students received a Superior rating and earned eight trophies, including a Grand Champion trophy for the school’s choir, at King Island’s Festival of Music showcase on April 30.
