WCSD Board to meet May 23 and May 31

The Westerville City Schools Board of Education will convene in a regular board meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 23 at the district's Early Learning Center, 936 Eastwind Drive, in Westerville.

The United States Department of Agriculture waivers that have provided no-cost school meals to all students across the nation expire at the end of the school year. This means Westerville City School District families will have to resume paying for breakfast and lunch school meals when students return to class after summer break.

Emilea Gilbert and Julianna Trudden, both eighth-grade students at Genoa Middle School and Fraser Hartnell, a sixth-grader at Walnut Springs Middle School, will represent Westerville City Schools in the National History Day contest from June 12 to 16.
