The Westerville City School District (WCSD) Board of Education on Monday approved the resignation of Superintendent Dr. John R. Kellogg, who has accepted a new Superintendent in Residence position that will work jointly with Columbus State Community College (CSCC) and the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO).

WSHS plans media center dedication in honor of Wildcat trailblazer and retired principal on March 23 Joy Rose dedication

The Westerville community is invited to join Westerville South High School as it unveils the Joy Rose Center for Excellence on March 23.

The Westerville Board of Education in October approved a resolution to name the school’s recently renovated media center after retired WSHS principal Joy Rose, who made school and district history during her 36 years of service to the school. She retired in 2004. 

She and her family will be on hand during the ceremony, which starts at 3 p.m.

Westerville City Schools is upgrading its current student medical records program to a new, easy to use, family accessible platform called SchoolCare. SchoolCare adheres to strict privacy regulations (FERPA & HIPAA) to ensure the confidentiality and security of your student’s school required health information.
