Federal Application for IDEA Part B

PUBLIC NOTICE

Westerville City Schools is applying to receive federal IDEA Part B funds to assist with the education of handicapped children ages 3-21 for the upcoming school year 2020-2021. As part of meeting federal assurances, Westerville City Schools must give community members an opportunity to provide input. Due to the Governor's Stay at Home mandate, input will be collected electronically starting May 15, 2020, and closing May 29, 2020, instead of in person.

In addition, there is also an annual need for families served by Title I programs to review and provide feedback on the district’s parent involvement policy (policy 2261.01) per the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, Title I, Part A Section 1118. This will also be collected electronically this year.
