Blendon students to compete in national fishing tournament

Brooks Hibbitt and Grant Buzard, two rising seventh-graders at Blendon Middle School, will compete in the National B.A.S.S. Junior Fishing Tournament on October 8 and 9 in Tennessee.

They will be among 70 teams across the nation competing in the national tournament for scholarship money. Hibbitt and Buzard are representing Hartley’s Hawgs Fishing Club. The two qualified for the tournament after finishing third place at a recent regional competition.
